The trial chambers, which are scheduled to make their debut in the next major Minecraft update, version 1.21, are another new addition to spice up players’ mining adventures. The ancient city, a new underground building, was recently added to the Overworld of Minecraft.
Now available as an experimental feature in both the most recent Bedrock and Java Editions, the trial chamber offers a variety of intriguing new blocks that promise a unique exploration experience.
This article explores the mob spawning mechanics of the trial chamber and provides additional information about this fascinating new addition.
List of Minecraft mobs that spawn in the trial chamber
Trial chambers are a new subterranean location containing a variety of new blocks, including a novel sort of spawner, that will be added with the 1.21 update to improve diversity and add a challenge to exploration in the greatest Minecraft dimension.
The trial chamber has a different spawning procedure for mobs than other areas. Instead of mobs arriving on their own, the structure has many trial spawner blocks that generate hostile creatures.

The mobs you might encounter while perusing the trial chamber are listed below:
- Silverfish
- Baby zombie
- Spider
- Cave spider
- Stray
- Skeleton
- Skeleton with Arrow of Poison (Java Edition exclusive)
- Breeze
- Zombie
- Husk
- Slime
Blocks that mimic the mob that trial spawners will summon surround them. In contrast to standard spawner blocks, trial spawners, as of Minecraft version 1.20.4, do not typically have a spinning miniature mob inside.
It is noteworthy that changes could still happen because the 1.21 features are still under development.

You can identify a potential spawn by examining the blocks surrounding it. For example, ice blocks surround a stray spawner block, mossy cobblestone surrounds a zombie spawner, and moss blocks encircle a slime spawner.
The trial chamber’s exclusive mob
Breeze is a brand-new mob that can only be found when its trial spawner block is activated. It is hostile and, peculiarly, bears resemblance to the blaze mob despite having the same name.
The blaze mob is associated with fire, whereas the breeze mob is associated with wind, and both share many of the same design elements.

The breeze is a bit weaker than the blaze, even though it takes inspiration from it. Its strikes only deal half a heart of damage when it releases a wind charge assault, but they do have a huge knockback impact that propels the player back a good distance.
It can be a little difficult to control this knockback and its long-range assault, but if you time your shield and arrows well, you can swiftly exhaust its fifteen hearts of health.
