A new feature for Fortnite Festival Season 1 is a dual-tiered Event Pass system that will allow both free-to-play players and premium pass holders to enjoy the festivities. Free Event Pass rewards offer a preview of what the new mode has to offer, while premium pass holders will be able to access a wealth of exclusive items, including a brand-new collaboration.
The Weeknd, who is expected to be a major part of Season 1 of the Festival, will make his debut in the game as part of the upcoming collaboration with the game.

Players will be able to wear The Weeknd’s skin to embody the essence of the festival. In addition to the artist’s in-game skin, players will be able to unlock a Microphone cosmetic, which will give their in-game avatars a little rockstar flair.
