BGIS 2023 Round 3 Group 9: Thrills, Spills, and Triumphs

The stage was set, and the third round of the BGIS 2023 saw Group 9 put on an exhilarating show that had spectators on the edge of their seats. Popular BGMI team Team Xspark, led by the unstoppable Pukar, who managed their ascent to the top of the leaderboard, emerged as the standout performer of this group. With a whopping 61 kills and three Chicken Dinners, they took first place with 132 points.

But it wasn’t an easy journey to the top. After a shaky start, Team Mayavi shown amazing tenacity on Day 2, making a remarkable improvement to take second place with 97 points. Their incredible comeback saw them score 66 points in their past three games, making it quite evident that they are a force to be taken seriously.

Despite not winning a single Chicken Dinner in BGIS Round 3, Numen Gaming nevertheless managed to finish in third place with 89 points. Their reliability and capacity for accumulating points during eliminations were crucial to their success.

Despite a dismal showing on Day 4, LOC Esports fought bravely and finished in fourth place with 59 points and 31 eliminations. These four outstanding teams have now qualified for the BGIS Quarterfinals, where even more difficult obstacles lie ahead.

The surprises kept coming after that. With 52 points, Error Esports took fifth place, demonstrating their capacity to upset the system. Following closely behind, Cannonboltz and RVNC demonstrated their prowess and tenacity.

Unfair Esports struggled throughout the competition, earning just nine points in six matches, while T2H Esports had a difficult Sunday and placed ninth with 36 points.

Match 4 – Erangel

In the opening match, Error Esports stunned everyone by outperforming Team XSpark in the end zone and winning by an astounding 26 kills. The underdog team in the game, RVNC Esports, made a splash with 24 points, including 14 kills. Starop took the lead with seven victories. Thanks to Sarang and Aditya’s outstanding effort, Team XSpark maintained their elite ranking and scored 23 points. In this exciting match, Team Mayavi and Numen Gaming earned 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Match 5 – Miramar

In this Miramar game, Team Mayavi showed off their tactical mastery by securing a spectacular 29-point Chicken Dinner. With six, four, and three kills each, the quartet of Blaxx, Proo, and Legit also made a significant contribution. With 20 points, Team XSpark kept up their remarkable streak. Tarkin Spartans and Flanker each scored 17 and 10 points, but Numen Gaming was eliminated early and only managed four points.

Match 6 – Sanhok

Team XSpark successfully completed the BGIS Round 3 by winning the final match by a score of 27 points. Team Mayavi, on the other hand, adopted an aggressive playing strategy and scored 27 points, including a startling 17 eliminations. T2H and RVNC each gained nine and eight points, while Numen Gaming was able to get 15 points. With eight and one point, respectively, Cannonboltz and LOC Esports also contributed.
