Since the revival of the Battle Royale game in May, players have been eagerly waiting for the grand BGMI competition to showcase their skills and claim victory. With registration commencing on July 24 and lasting until August 2, the stage is set for aspiring teams to embark on a journey of fierce competition and potential glory. Registering for BGIS 2023: The First Step Towards Glory
To participate in the BGIS 2023, every team must meet the necessary criteria and have an in-game account with a minimum level of 25 and Platinum V tier. Furthermore, all team members must be at least 16 years old to compete in this thrilling tournament. Once your team is ready to take on the challenge, follow these steps to register:
- Open the Battlegrounds Mobile India Esports website.
- Tap on the “Go To Dashboard” banner.
- Enter your email ID and OTP received.
- Fill in all the required details, including name, mobile number, ID proof number, and upload a government ID proof and profile picture.
- After providing the necessary information, click on the “Proceed” banner.
- A new page will open with important information about the tournament; make sure to review it carefully.
- Tap on all four square brackets to acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Finally, click on the “Complete Registration” banner to officially enter the BGIS 2023.
The Road to Glory: BGIS 2023 Format
BGIS 2023 presents a competitive format that promises intense battles and exhilarating moments for both players and spectators. The journey begins with the In-Game Qualifiers, scheduled from August 10 to 17. During this stage, each registered team will participate in 15 matches, and the top 2048 teams will advance to the subsequent rounds.
The excitement intensifies as the 256 invited teams compete in the qualifiers event, “The Grind.” At the conclusion of this event, the top 32 teams secure a direct spot in Round 3 of BGIS 2023, while the bottom 32 move to Round 2. The remaining 224 teams from the previous phase and the top 32 teams from “The Grind” will then face off in Round 3.
The top 64 teams from Round 3 advance to Round 4, while 16 squads move to the Losers Bracket. The winners of Round 4 progress to the Semifinals, while the other 48 teams from this round compete in the Losers Bracket against 16 teams from Round 3.
The Semifinals bring together the top 16 teams from Round 3 and the top 16 from the Losers Bracket. These 32 squads will battle fiercely for the ultimate honor—the chance to compete in the BGIS Grand Finals, scheduled from October 12 to 14.
