The battleground is set, and the competition is about to get fiercer as Krafton officially announces the commencement of registrations for the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2023. Aspiring players from India now have the opportunity to showcase their skills on the grand stage and seize their chance to win a significant share of the staggering ₹2,000,000 prize pool.
After nearly a year of anticipation, Krafton is all geared up to host a major esports event that promises thrill, excitement, and intense battles. BGIS 2023 has been the talk of the town ever since its announcement, and now players can finally start assembling their squads and register through the official BGMI Esports website.
To be eligible for registration, every participant must meet the minimum requirements, which will be clearly outlined on the website. Essential prerequisites include an In-game ID and a squad comprising a minimum of four players. However, even before the main event takes place, teams are facing a fierce competition in the ongoing “The Grind.” This crucial event has begun on July 20 and will determine the top 64 teams that will be granted entry into the BGIS. Out of these, the top 32 teams will directly advance to Round 3 of the India Series, while the remaining 32 will qualify for Round 2.
The Grand Finale of BGIS 2023, the culmination of the entire tournament, is slated to be held from October 12 to 14. The top sixteen teams will battle it out over three intense days, vying for the prestigious blazing trophy and a jaw-dropping cash prize of ₹75 lakhs. The rewards don’t stop there, as the second, third, and fourth-place squads will also be handsomely rewarded with ₹37.5 lakhs, ₹25 lakhs, and ₹12.5 lakhs, respectively.
Apart from the squad-based awards, individual players will have the opportunity to shine and claim their share of recognition. The tournament will feature special awards, including the Most Valuable Player (MVP), Rising Star, and more, providing players with multiple avenues to demonstrate their skills and stand out in the competitive landscape.
