Nodwin Gaming, in collaboration with Star Sports, is all set to kick off the highly anticipated Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) Masters Series ( BGMS ) Season 2 from August 4 to 27 in Delhi, India. As the gaming community gears up for an enthralling showdown, Nodwin Gaming has revealed the names of all the qualified and invited teams for the tournament, which boasts a staggering prize pool of ₹2.1 crore. With a unique format and intense competition on the cards, the BGMS Season 2 promises to be a thrilling spectacle for both participants and fans alike.

The tournament will feature a total of 24 skilled teams, including 14 directly invited teams and 10 qualified squads. Blind Esports, Gods Reign, Gladiators Esports, Global Esports, Orangutan, Enigma Gaming, Revenant Esports, Team Soul, Team Xspark, Team 8Bit, GodLike Esports, Oneblade, Numen Gaming, and Medal Esports are some of the invited teams that will be competing for glory.

On the other hand, the qualified teams include OR Esports, Entity Gaming, Velocity Gaming, Team Insane, Team SPY, Chemin Esports, Lucknow Giants, Marcos Gaming, Team WSB, and True Rippers. These teams have fought their way through intense battles to earn their spots in the tournament.

The BGMS Season 2 will feature a captivating format, where the initial stage will witness the 24 teams clashing against each other to secure 16 spots in the Grand Finals. The schedule for the tournament is as follows:

1) League Stage BGMS – August 4 to 20

  • Launch Week – August 4 to 6
  • League Week 1 – August 7 to 10
  • Super Weekend 1 – August 11 to 13
  • League Week 2 – August 14 to 17
  • Super Weekend 2 – August 18 to 20

2) Playoffs – August 22 and 23

3) Grand Finals – August 25 to 27

The BGMS Season 2 will witness three matches each day, starting at 9:30 pm IST, except for the Grand Finals. Star Sports and Rooter will broadcast the entire event live in multiple languages, ensuring fans from across the country can be part of the action.

Several teams have made significant roster changes ahead of the tournament. Blind Esports, which signed the BGMS Season 1 winning squad from Global Esports a few months back, has now included Addy to strengthen their lineup. GodLike Esports, the Season 1 runner-up, has added the rising star Spower to their roster. Team Soul, known for their consistent performances, has bolstered their squad with the inclusion of Neyo.

Revenant Esports, led by former Team XO IGL Sensei, is a team to watch out for. Their BGMI squad consists of four skilled players, namely MJ, Apollo, Fierce, and Sensei. Gladiators Esports recently recruited players from former Chemin Esports to enhance their lineup. True Rippers, on the other hand, acquired the talented Faith Esports lineup.

Entity Gaming, led by Saumraj, will be participating in their first major BGMI event. Marcos Gaming has also announced their new lineup consisting of Vexe, Aladin, Spraygod, and Sayyam just a few weeks before the event. Velocity Gaming, led by Punk, and OR Esports, led by Jelly, have secured their spots in the tournament by showcasing their potential during the Qualifiers.
