On July 13, the formerly Xbox console-exclusive game Naraka: Bladepoint will switch to the PS5.
Naraka: For the past year, the Xbox console has only offered Bladepoint, a melee-focused battle royale game. It was initially only accessible on Xbox Series X gaming consoles, but about six months later, an Xbox One port appeared.
Naraka: Bladepoint not only spent a long time being exclusive to PC and Xbox consoles, but it also made its Xbox debut as a day one Xbox Game Pass title.
Bladepoint was generally well received and had some success with Game Pass, but it didn’t have a lot of staying power. Bladepoint’s ability to reach a wider audience by coming to the PS5 could have significant long-term effects for the survival of the battle royale genre.
