In VALORANT, mastering trigger discipline takes a lot of perseverance, but one player seemed to have it down pat as evidenced by their cunning Bucky ace.
The elusive Omen player quickly flanked the five assailants at the A Short from B site on Bind in the video posted on July 8 on Reddit. They entered Cubby in silence, trailing the opposing squad so that all five attackers were visible.
The primary problem was that Omen had only a Bucky while the opposition squad possessed weapons. Buckys perform best at close ranges and are incredibly slow to fire off several shots.
As a result, the player who was flanking the enemy had to be cautious with their shooting and hold off until they were close enough to the target.
While they were using their Trailblazer ability, no one was looking behind them for a potential flank, so Omen was able to sneak up on the enemy Skye. While evading detection, the player had enough time to align Skye’s head with Fade’s before killing both of them with a single Bucky shot.
The adversary Brimstone and Reyna were treated similarly a short while later. Omen managed to wipe down four players with just two flawless Bucky shots.
Soon later, the Bucky would be defeated by the hostile Phoenix, giving Omen a great ace that demanded strict trigger control. Two key lessons were learned that round: someone needs to watch the flank, and trigger discipline may go a long way. The entire squad was eliminated in a matter of seconds.
